Leads and pipeline

The table, the Atlas, saved views and the stages a lead moves through.

Three views of the same rows. All leads is the table, Opportunity Atlas is the map, and Pipeline is the board. Nothing is a copy: a stage changed in one is changed in all three.

The leads table

Every business your searches have imported, with its score, its market, its stage and when it was last audited. Sort by any column, filter down to what you are working on, and open a row for the full audit. The row menu deletes a lead outright when it should never have been imported — deleting does not return the credit, because the business was opened and the work was done.

Export the current view to CSV from the table. Values are quoted and guarded against spreadsheet formula injection, so a business name beginning with = stays a name when the file is opened.

The Opportunity Atlas

The same leads on a map of the market, sized and coloured by score. Use it when the question is geographic — which corner of a suburb is underserved, whether a cluster is worth a morning of calls.

Filters here run deeper than the table’s: opportunity band, pipeline stage, a verified issue the audit found, business category and website status. A filter set worth keeping can be saved as a view, named, and reopened later.

Stages

A lead moves through the pipeline as things happen. The stages are:

  • New — imported, audit not finished.
  • Auditing — the website check is running.
  • Qualified — audited and worth a look.
  • Draft ready — an approved draft is waiting to be sent by you.
  • Contacted, Replied, Meeting — the conversation, as far as it has got.
  • Won and Lost — the end of it.
  • Do not contact — the business asked, or you decided. This is the stage that matters most: see below.

The board moves leads by drag or by the stage control on the lead itself. Nothing moves a lead on your behalf except the audit finishing, which takes it out of Auditing.

Do not contact

Marking a lead Do not contact stops the product offering you anything to send about it. To keep a business out of future searches entirely, add it to the suppression list in Settings — suppressed businesses are skipped at import, so they never cost a credit again.

Finding things quickly

Press ⌘K for the command palette: leads by name, recent searches, saved views and every page in the workspace, ranked by what you have been using. The Action Inbox on the dashboard collects what is actually waiting on you — drafts ready to review, follow-ups that have come due, audits that failed and can be retried, and evidence about to go stale.
